Welcome to our Blog!

Welcome!  We are so glad you are here to check out our new blog. We have been very busy behind the scenes getting ready for the new education landscape we are in.  Education is an ever-evolving environment, and we are honored to be a part of it.  We are pleased to be able to offer you another location to learn helpful tips with respect to our MMARS system, as well as what's happening in the Education world we all live in.  Feel free to check back often.  We'd love your feedback!

SSDA

Founded in 1983, the SSDA (Small School District Association) has been an invaluable way for school districts with an ADA under 5,000 students to have a voice.  The SSDA encourages business partnerships to support the work of small school districts.  SSDA Associate Members currently include over 120 businesses that work with smaller districts to provide much needed services, facilities and educational programs.  We are honored to be one of those businesses who has earned the respect of this organization, and are proud to have many customers who are members of SSDA.  We are exhibiting at their annual Superintendent Symposium this week and we look forward to seeing some of you there! If you are a small district, do yourself a favor and check out their website.

Did you know...?

Did you know that you can speed up your report processing by using the MMARS batch reporting function?  You may have heard us talking about batch reporting, and are maybe still a bit unsure what benefit it could provide for you.  Instead of generating individual reports one at a time, batch reporting allows you to generate many reports all at the same time. Using combinations of criteria such as schools, teachers, subjects, and demographics, batch reporting gives you the ability to generate hundreds...even thousands of reports in one sitting.  These reports are sent to a report queue where they can then be viewed, printed, downloaded and shared as needed. Permissions are set on the PDF file(s) such that only those users who have been granted access to the data can see them.  Shared reports will automatically appear in the queue of permitted users.  This makes running school and teacher level reports a breeze!  Please give us a call if you would like more information on batch reporting.  In addition, we have a tutorial here on our website that will give you an in-depth overview.
